Author - Stephanie Molina RN, MSN

Stephanie Molina was born in Groton, Connecticut, and spent her early childhood there before growing up in Southern California. Since 2006, she has devoted her career to healthcare, serving fifteen years as a labor and delivery nurse, most of those years as a charge nurse, bearing witness at life’s most sacred thresholds. In 2019, she earned her Master’s in Nursing Leadership and Administration, and for the past five years has continued her calling as a nurse manager, guiding others with the same compassion and purpose that have shaped her life.

Outside of her career, Stephanie married her best friend, Javier, in 2006, and together they’ve built a life filled with laughter, open conversations, and the daily choice to put each other first. Next year, they look forward to celebrating 20 years of love and marriage. Together, they are raising two teenagers, Evalynn and Lucas, who fill their lives with love, laughter, and meaning.

Her debut book, Beyond the Bedside, is a deeply personal collection of true stories drawn from both her work and her life. These stories share the wonder, awe and mystery she felt in the moment, reminding us that we are never truly alone. Stephanie shares these encounters not to persuade, but to connect—with those who have passed and those still with us. Perhaps this book will offer support, validation, and comfort to anyone seeking meaning in the spaces between this world and the afterlife.

As a Registered Nurse of twenty years, Stephanie Molina shares fifteen true encounters that have deepened her belief in the unseen. A collection of accounts from heartfelt goodbyes with loved ones, to chilling brushes with souls she had never met. While most of the spirits earthly lives remain unknown, Stephanie shares these stories to bring life back to them once again—even if it’s for just a moment.
