Robert A. Clark is a retired freelance Business Continuity Consultant. He has multi-national and multi-cultural experience having worked in fifteen different countries. His career spans more than 40 years and includes 15 years spent with IBM and 11 years with Fujitsu. In 2013 he started working as a part time university lecturer delivering to both under-graduate and post graduate students. He also delivered Crisis Management, Business Continuity and ICT Disaster Recovery commercial training in the Middle East..
He has been awarded three professional fellowships by the Institute of Business Continuity Management (FIBCM), the British Computer Society (FBCS) and the Institute of Strategic Risk management (FISRM). He also has a Master of Science Degree in Business Continuity, Security and Emergency Management awarded by Bucks New University.
His first book, for which he was both author and editor, “In Hindsight – a compendium of business continuity case studies” was published in July 2014 and shortly afterwards reached Number One on the Amazon best sellers lists. His third book, "Business Continuity and the Pandemic Threat - Potentially the Biggest Survival Challenge Facing Organisations", was published in 2016 in which he predicted the Covid-19 pandemic.
